This makes me feel like it is a 100 Mbps network, not 1Gbps.

Apart from it, this VPS comes with unmetered monthly traffic which is a really nice thing.

Actually the port given to each dedicated physical server in the datacenter(I have 5 of them) are dedicated 1gbps lines though on vps's they all share the physical dedicated servers port which you do realize in order to actually get full 1gbps speed you need to change your "virtual" nic card to intel e1000 that is capable of 1gbps speeds the realtek one you have selected only supports 100mbps speed which is why you aren't utilizing the full 1gbps connection speed. realtek 8169 is a 100mbps card it does not support 1gbps speed. I have changed it for you: https://snag.gy/BE4yHD.jpg but you will need to reboot your vps for xen to make the changes needed to your vm's configuration to upgrade its speed capability.
also let me state it isn't kvm while xen hvm could be compared to kvm since there both full virtualization types there is a difference.

I will fix the RDNS in the coming days do not ask me for a ETA though you will know it works when you try using it lol Wink
,
Ah. I never know the card will effect my speed hahaha. At least with the last one I used, it works great with my side. Will try using the one you changed to me.

Also, thanks for the support for RDNS! That's really helpful. I don't find RDNS really important for me, but ya, thanks for the support.
wtf . we dont have xeon X series cpu . how its X-**** ????
Can you please explain to me how fast this cpu is?

It is a almost 11 year old processor that has been discontinued ages ago. The performance is far from good nowadays.

Imho it is a bit of a shame that people sell service with such old technology.

Your Google skills are low. Literally search for X5560 and first links are Intel ARK pages of the CPU.

If you're asking how fast is Intel Xeon in general, I only can answer with this: almost every server is using Intel Xeon rather than other CPU, that means Intel Xeon is reliable for server thingy.

But if you asking about VPS 8 processor, I can't answer since I don't really understand CPU specs.
