Definately the cs1.6 , I tried cs go but its just not for me.
CS:GO better
I was playing cs1.6 when I was 13. I have many memories with 1.6
I have not tried CS GO yet but CS 1.6's my style, even tho the graphics of 1.6 are not pretty satisfactory and CSGO wins in that field easily, I still love to play 1.6
In my opinion both have its own advantages. But for myself 1 choose :
CS 1.6: we can modify at will,installed plugin,skins and many more. Like CS red. Cs extream. CSPB . And other modified CS 1.6
I kinda like CS:GO's matchmaking system, the only thing is people drop in and out ALL THE TIME. So very rarely will you get enough rounds in with an actual team. Sometimes I join matchmaking and realizing 10 min later my team consists entirely of bots. The rest of the game is meh. The weapons are meh, the map changes screw with my head.
Both are fun to play with friends tbh, CS 1.6 is old school and CSGO is a bit newer

Both the games are good, but Counter Strike 1.6 was good at it time, when CS GO was not released, it was very popular and had a lot of active people there. When CS GO released, many people left CS 1.6 and are now playing CS GO. People have now more interest in CS GO than CS 1.6 because in CS GO you can buy weapons skins, which makes the game more interesting.

CS:GO is just crap, you have a LOT of people who use hacks, wallhacks, aimbots and such, and the game it self has some missing things that cs1.6 has, for example you can spray in cs1.6 but you can't do that in csgo, and with the latest protocol for cs1.6 no one can use a hack.
It is a normal process of life to have people who cheat in a video game. This actually helps with the development of new video games and first person shooters...
tbh, I don't like either, but 1.6 seems nice. CSGO is an unfinished, buggy game. Its spaghetti code doesn't help either. The only reason it's still going is because of false hope she community.
