Blush CONCLUSION Blush

As per my experience the VPS 1 sponsored by Host4Fun is a stable server having good network speed. But the speed test result showed by the benchmarks showing slow network considering a 1 Gbit/s server. Currently I am hosting an educational website on it. I am happy with the performance of this server.

Nice review :=)

Your VPS's CPU is a monster, it is only 1 core but it is very powerful if you can get it at 100%.
I/O speeds are very good, it is not listed its type SSD or HDD?

The only things that seems a little off are the network speeds, maybe you took the test on a particular moment when the node network was really busy Smile

Well, make a good use of this little monster! Tongue

Brilliant and absolutely beautiful review (yes, I said beautiful... because the formatting makes it look like so. Something I really wish I could’ve done on mobile without ending up with a headache haha).

The disk space is identical to VPS 9, which is extremely impressive! And the CPU is an absolute beast! The only thing it’s lacking from being perfect is more RAM, that’s all!

It is HDD.
Terminal
lsblk -d -o name,rota
NAME ROTA
sda 1

May be, I received good speed earlier. But post4VPS benchmark speed test took a long time to complete.
Hello!
Nice and simple review.

I would like to see how it scores on geekbench 5 if you don't mind spending some time doing it. thanks

I'm just curious.
, firstly, it's an excellent review from you. VPS 1 really seems a very good VPS, and it has a good amount of storage, so you could host lots of lightweight stuff. Smile

Secondly, sorry for the SpeedTest script trouble, actually it's my fault. I've recently switched my VPS OS and I forgot to upload the speedtest server file. The Atlanta speedtest mirror is actually my VPS, and hence the script took a long timeout before skipping Atlanta. I'll be fixing that ASAP. Thanks to you, I got reminded of this thing. Smile

Kind regards,

Just did it, I will add it to main post.

It is having 1 GB RAM which is good for simple projects & vSwap, also is a KVM too.

I had a tag on that server to your username, the benchmark script is good as it gives a lot of important informations. I remember HR. Keep it online please.
Good review.
But I am just wondering why VPS 1 keeps lagging game servers while the benchmarks are the same or there is very small difference between VPS 1 and 17 by benchmarks but VPS 17 capable of hosting game servers.
Overall this VPS looks good for hosting small websites or personal blogs.
I've fixed the benchmark script. Just placed the download test file at it's place. I've tested it myself, and it's working now.

You might consider doing just an IPv4 speedtest benchmark again and update it in your initial review. Sorry for the inconveniences caused.

Regards,
Good review, VPS 1 was the first VPS I ever got when I first joined here, and It was my favorite at the time, looking back at it now I had no idea they actually were giving an i7-7700K for it!

Though I recall it had much more internet speed than what you mentioned, would you mind taking an average of like 5-10 internet attempts and sharing the result?(Using the nearest node option on speedtest)
