AMD is good for gaming and things but nVidia beats everything xD
There is a lot of talk about Intel 7 th generation processors. Any like to believe they outperform AMD Ryzen series.

As far as I know, AMD's Ryzen series will be released in March. I don't think there actually is a equivalent, but if you want, you can compare it with Intel's newest series Kaby Lake or maybe even it's successor (even though it will be released Q1 2018), Coffee Lake.

Man.. my Skylake slowly starts to get old too haha
Thanks Rick. What's so much fuss about Ryzen ? There is a lot of news reporting happening about it.
thanks for asking
Well if you say what i prefer i still prefer AMD because they doesnt milk their costumer like intel and nvidia does

back then AMD is known great for gaming . and intel great for use for any other than gaming but now thing changed with the release of AMD Ryzen processor . because a lot of factor nowdays intel chip is still a little bit better in gaming than ryzen chip but in any other thing like content creating and RAW performance AMD is much much better because it is have more core and slightly more ipc than intel counterpart

the problem is that ryzen processor have less core clock . ryzen 1700 only have 3GhZ where 7700K have 4GhZ . not only that but lot of game isnt optimized for amd ryzen processor and lot of game use intel code . but i see some developer actually can optimize their game for ryzen and get a lot of performance boost . it is actually just like the gpu where amd gpu get better everytime thanks to finewine technology but nvidia card see little improvement or massive decrease in performance overtime because nvidia like planned obsolecence and want to get moar profit

so the conclusion is if you need a pc and use it only for gaming and doesnt care future proofing (because probably ryzen will get optimization) and also want to get milked by intel you better go with intel but if you want the best raw performance , you use your computer other than gaming and great future proofing and want your pc last longer than go AMD because you doesnt get milked that way

AMD and Intel are pretty much the same. AMD is mainly for gaming and Intel is for the combination of both.

you wrong . since ryzen AMD is poor for gaming but much much better for anything else . and intel only good for gaming

I totally agree with you , Ryzen was obviously made for graphics designers and game makers but not exactly for gaming, although it performs well with gaming but intel is still way better.

well ryzen is actually is underutrilized because most game are using intel code . not only that but game mostly using single core very hard and abadoning other core so that is why "for now" intel is much better in gaming

but probably ryzen will get better for gaming because now developer are more foucused to enable better multi thread support

Its true about old games but games made few years ago already had option to turn on multithreading.
Even in windows 10 you can turn on option to force system to use all your threads.
