On Ubuntu, it is extremely easy and I just need to press the Print Screen key. Then the screenshot will be saved automatically to the Home Picture folder. For 'normal' users (people who just screenshot) it might be a little bit of an overkill, but for people who likes to adjust loads of stuff and such (me) it's a godsend.
