Actually there are still so many people do that. Check eBay for stamps and coins and you will see how many sales are happening everyday. Sometimes I wish there were many into this because competition is so crazy in eBay auctions for stamps.
There are few local FB Groups where people sell stamps. Sometimes I can't believe why people buy even current stamps for double price. So yeah there is a huge market for coins and stamps. Demand is so high so prices are keep going up.

I do collect paytm money which is use full for me to convert Indian currency with taking PayPal money as peryoo said I too collect oxygen which is cool and imp for me too loll ,BTW WTs use of these collection of old stamps?

You can do it as a hobby which for learn more about other countries cultures etc. Some collect these because of their Antique value. And most of stamp collectors do it for fun as well as investment. For example stamps you buy today for face value can be sold for 2x 3x next year. It's a big business. Check ebay and you will get an idea.

I think it is alright to do it as a hobby. But as an investment... I do not recommend to do so. It is not always you buy it today and can sell for 2x 3x next year. You can easily lose money too.
