Yup.. but these days phones are not just for calling or texting. mostly for status icon.

@Golden i think its not just an apple icon . My opion , apple have good quality and optimization . And maybe its have expensive cost . Sometimes for status social icon

iphone x is just a premium version of iphone 8 that is the iphone 7 but with better specs that is iphone 6s with better specs that is iphone 6 with better specs . seriously they used similar design for 4 years
it feature an oled almost bezelles display with 19:9 screen ratio (18:9 without notch) a Face id that have a 3d camera in it (unlike face recogniton on other device that is 2d) . and it also functional as emoji machine
but it still have same specs as iphone 8

Yep, as I know, it's same like the other phones, and I guess FaceID is old, because I do have tried this with my old phone (2014 phones), but yea, iPhone X have 3D FaceID, and I only have 2D. But afterall, it's old one, but with the newer things.
If you have much money, go buy it, but if you don't, I guess, go for an Android.
