Neither France or Croatia among top choices at the beginning so it's really hard to say who will beat who. I think both teams given their best to get there. getting their teams to final is a victory alone in my opinion. Even most of my French friends thought their team gonna get booted at knock out stage. I want to root for them but I have to admit I'm more impressed with Croatia team. Hopefully both teams will throw everything at the game and will be a memorable one.

I really hope they win - will be "shouting" for them for sure. Anything so that France won't win. If Germany can lose to South Korea, then for me there's a chance at least that Croatia can beat France.
I don't know Croatia's president though. When Croatia was playing Belgium, Belgium was my favourite country to win. The Croatian team put up a great fight in its last match with England though. So one has to admire their strong team spirit.
Wow - I just checked to learn a bit more about the Croatian president. I now see what you mean. She really looks great. The Croatian team has a powerful mascot there.

The BIG match is coming up soon. I'm trying to find out the exact time the final between Croatia and France will be played? Looks like in South Africa it will be 5:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, 15 July). Google seems to think France has 49% chance to win and Croatia 22% with a possibility of 29% draw. I hope Croatia will win, but I guess the odds are in favour of France. They'll probably play a very aggressive and winners take all hard game.

Well, finally France managed to beat Croatia 4-2 and become the winner of the World Cup 2018.
Croatia has already shown that it is a strong team, but France did have a better performance during the match.
No matter which team you were supporting, there had totally 6 goals in the final match and it was really entertaining.

Although France deserved to win, I didn't think the refereeing was of the best. The score should have been 3-2 in France's favour. The one penalty goal was very contentious.

Hmm... for that penalty goal, let's say if the referee did not make the penalty decision, it would then be unfair to the France team. Clearly from VAR (Video Assistant Referee) it was indeed a handball and Perisic did move his hand down to stop the ball. I would agree that the decision was contentious though.

France was lucky tho, their first goal (got own goal by Mandzukic), and their penalty is controversial. That was really an entertaining game, and I don't even expect there will be 6 goals on the final.

I personally wish that Croatia have to win because of hardwork. but its not a less to appreciate that they will be the finalist. France take back title after Zidane.

Well said @tiwil France was lucky. Six goals do sound unrealistic as well. I think I heard somewhere in the news that the four goals are the most goals that have ever been won in a FIFA match by a team.

Yep, France first 2 goals are lucky tho, Croatia have a good play, but France have better lucky.
And ya, France win the game.
