most of exe application are compiled binary that mean it cannot be easily modified . you can edit it hex by hex with hxd or with resourcde hacker but not all exe application will work . also if it is a .net application it can be easily viewed with ILSpy except if it is obfuscatted
the simple answer is no . you unlikely to get the source code from the compiled form
