this is happened on me too. The last update that Windows 10 forced on me didn't uninstall my programs, instead it broke my audio and wi-fi drivers beyond what could be repaired with a re-install. I couldn't get the computer to work again until I booted into safe mode and uninstalled the update.

Never happened with me though, however i have heard that it only deletes the illegal applications automatically.

this reminds me,
a women sued Microsoft for forcing her to update her os and ultimately slowing her potato PC, she was compensated by Microsoft for 10000$ xD

This is serious issue . Past i use windows 10 . But it run slowly in my laptop. So i change from windows 10 to windows 8. But when i use windows 10 . My windows 10 never uninstall my program without my permission . This issue didn't happen to me
