Sometime last night my VM died and was unreachable, I rebooted it via the cobalt panel, which took 3 Minutes until the vmware screen bios and then hangs indefinitely on Loading initial ramdisk...
Its not responding to "power down" in the panel.
There is something seriously wrong with cobalthost.net
Edit: totally ignored the Power off command via the panel and is now fully booted after more than 12 minutes but barely usable, as in extremely slow.
Small example:

rsync is 390kB big, imagine doing something with 3MB.

Woke up today, server is not responding, shutting down or rebooting via the panel does not work, seems dead.

Typical Cobalt. I actually BOUGHT one, but meh. I didn't pay for renewal but still damn. The one I bought lasted me 3 days before POOF.

Currently 100% packetloss to the server, console not working. Well, let's wait a day and see.

Are you still using vps 5 ? If you are, how things working ? Still having problems or now it's working ?

No, it is unusable. Even when it's reachable it is too slow to do something and after a while the VM is unreachable anyways.

Ah that's sad. It worked pretty well for a while at begin. I hoped now it's working again like it used to. I wonder if the problem is servers or their this VM system.

They are overselling their 2 old servers they have. Also HDD as storage does not help if you oversell it that much. Whoever owns that "company" should be ashamed of himself, since he has no idea what he is doing or is clearly scamming people.
Also their uptime is horrible.

Avoid cobalthost.

That looks like a solid vps, I'm also hoping to get one the only issue I had was of the speed and as you said It's not pretty reliable for speed so maybe I'll go for a different server, maybe one which is located in france. Thanks a bunch man, This truly helped me solve my problem! +1
