Also, if you buy RAM clocked at different speeds, it will follow the lowest clocked RAM.
For example,
You have 8GB ram in a 2x4GB setup. One module is 1600Mhz and the other is 1333Mhz. All ram will be clocked at 1333Mhz even if your motherboard supports 1600Mhz.

It's also same if 2x4GB setup with 1600Mhz but my motherboard only supports 1333Mhz it will then follow the motherboard Mhz right?

So always check your motherboard first to avoid wasting money

I think you can , if motherboard supports.You can check your motherboard details at Game-debate , then you can be sure for it and you will know the number of GB's you can install in your laptop.
Well i will never give my laptop for any kind of upgrade.
Last time i contacted laptop support for RAM upgrade and Motherboard service , they give me a refund for it.:'D
I think you should get to a Computer expert to get much more about it.

@Conan Maybe I'll just buy with same Mhz of my previous RAM, just to be safe without getting any problem.
Follow-up question: My laptop can max upto 8GB of RAM now the question is, which is much better? x2 4GB RAM or x1 8GB RAM?

I suggest you to use 2x 4gb.
Because in case one of your memory dies . You will still have 4GB On the go.
i never prefer one stick thats a risk.
I have i7 and have 2x sticks of 8gb.

2x4GB. This is better if your device supports dual channel ram. Each slot will have it's own channel so there isn't any scheduling between 2 sticks of ram.

RAMs rarely fail afaik. It also doesn't have a fail over mechanism. If 1 stick becomes worn out it will crash the whole system.

I can't my room is small only it's not space wise if I will switch to PC.

I think x2 4GB RAM Much Better Than x1 8GB . Its Is Like Multi Core In CPU . Its make Multi Threading To Procces More Faster . Like In The Road . If just Available 1 Ways . the Road Will be Crowdly But If Available . It Will Reduce Crowdly
