Actually changing ports help more than expected, I had bot attacks earlier and I was able to block them by changing the port, between ssh port can also be changed by programmes like webmin very easily. Changing port is 100% must if you do not want to get hacked.

Glad someone made a tutorial on how to change the SSH service's port. Hackers love to bruteforce VPSs by connecting to any ssh service on port 22 and trying to log in with usernames like "root", "admin", "user", and stuff like that to try to take over the VPS to use in their malicious intents.
