I use gyazo for this task as It was the first program of this sort and I really liked it as well!

There are a lot of screen recording tools these days. Both paid and free. Not everything has the best quality.

The most simple software and very lightweight, known as Snipping Tool. Fast and better than all others.

@Lampard another snipping tool fans Big Grin It's simple, but it has the power to take useful screen captures.

I'm using Lightshot also, it's enough and very good for me as it's also powerful.

I use lightshot, which is cool but it could be faster if it just automatically copies what I selected

since im moving to linux . now im using gnome-screenshot to screenshot
it is as easy as lightshot but it is lacking the upload and clipboard feature

to use it i just need to type gnome-screenshot in the run dialog (ALT+F2) and add a -a if i want to do area screenshot

I do not use any screenshotting program. I just press the PrtScr button on my computer and paste my picture on paint then save it. Or I use Snipping tool too, which is already included in all Windows operating systems.

I'm still using Windows 7 Professional on my desktop and laptops and am using the Windows 7 Snipping Tool for screen shots. I save that to my hard disk, and then upload it to Imgur when I need to use it in Forum discussions.
