Good bye!

After almost 10 years, the end has finally come. Due to declining revenues from advertisers, it's sadly no longer economically viable for us to keep running Solidfiles. Over the past year, we've tried to take measures to keep the site running, but it has unfortunately not been enough. On May 31, 2017 we'll be shutting down the servers.

For our Premium subscribers, we will be issuing partial refunds during the coming month for any time remaining after May 31st.

It has been a great journey and we hope that you have enjoyed using Solidfiles!

i never use solidfiles but i see lot of people ue it . i think because a lot of people ue adblocker they cannot get money from ads so that is why they closing

solidfiles is more like rapidshare(now is dead),tusfile,zippyshare than a dropbox , box or google drive

ye thats right.. but they got another problems such as ddos attack etc..

Same to Mediafire,Mega and Dropbox...

not only ddos attack but solid files is also notorious for giving many popups but the problem that is the only way the hosting provider make money other than premium account

It is very sad to see them go. It has been over 10 years since they have been here.

This is funny. The URL (the bye page) gives me a 404 "Page not found" error. And it appears that the solidfiles.com main page is still working.

But they really announced their closure news on May 1, not April 1. So it did not look like a fool or fake news.
