unable to access jar file? - OldMeister - 08-04-2017
im trying to run my minecraft server and everytime i run the server im getting errors
ive followed this guide how to make minecraft server

first time it worked. but after i stoped the server then launched it. it show me at therminal error

Have you installed default-jdk?

yes i did. im using the command java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui to launch server

i reccomend you install pufferpanel and run the server with the panel instead . it is very easy and i use it in my vps . here is the link https://www.pufferpanel.com/docs
pufferpanel isnt the only one . you can use bright game panel or pherodactyl but i use pufferpanel for my personal use . if you have problem you can just contact me by replying or on shoutbox

i just updated server.properties and then the error apper again...
Edit: @Dynamo im tierd of these linux vps problems. i followed every step everything. and it shows diffrent errors and then vps crash please im beggin you. OPEN the new giveway and this time i want windows... im waiting for windows vps like 6 month and when i got vps 1 month ago. i got extremly happy but when i set it up. i saw it linux... i know you doing me a "favor" that you giving me vps and im thankful for that. but please agree with me the thing i wanted is not 100 precent. i got vps without windows. please in this giveway. no matter what i want windows. i dont care even its windows vista or the badest windows ever exist. its better then linux,.

for me i almost doesnt get a problem with linux . even though i get it a simple google search will fix it . the problem with windows vs for me is that it eat more resource when idle and also it is slower because linux have less background application and for me for server i better use linux instead but there are a problem with linux . it isnt as familiar as windows but learning linux is totally worth it
and if you want to apply windows vps unfortunately VPS 3 have bad internet speed and VPS 2 and 13 is taken and also VPS 6 have the internet problem but not as much as VPS 3 does

first of all. you got vps 9. and i got vps 1. it isnt the same. and i dont care if it has internet connection problems... just windows

EDIT: another issue im having. i cant reinstall the os or change the os... nothing happn when i press the reinstall button in the control panel

well if the panel doesnt work you can ask admin for reinstallation . vps 9 doesnt even have any control panel at all
