But I am sure Namecheap isn't going anywhere, Their deals are just hot and it doesn't really cost that much to renew either if you are sustaining a business

Right, i am also pretty much annoyed by those CloudFlare pages for DDoS Protection, i mean if they want to provide that protection for free, why they would want to show the ugly page stating their site is protected.

Even Captcha shows up for some websites which gets more annoying. It would be rather better to purchase a good server with DDoS Protection than using a cloudflare.

You're the expert and totally agreed.  Furthermore, as I understand it, it is a misstatement to say the site is DDoS protected. Cloudflare doesn't really provide DDoS protection - only a tool to manage and mitigate DDoS attacks when they happen.  Actual DDoS protection is a whole different ball game - like it's something one pays for as part of the hosting package from the DataCenter.  I think Cloudflare should be sorted out on its advertising as many users of CloudFlare seem to think they get DDoS protection for free.  They don't.  They only get a tool to manage DDoS attacks and to mitigate the effect of those if they should happen.  Granted Cloudflare's DDoS protection tool is an excellent tool and very effective for average websites, particularly since real DDoS protection comes at a high price, it should at least get kudos for that.  But for serious large traffic servers like games servers and those websites that are regularly vulnerable for DDoS attacks, Cloudflare mitigation is not enough. Cloudflare's claim is a misstatement.
