No offence, but your plans are a *bit* expensive. Even with DDoS protection. A 256MB OPENVZ VPS for $2?! Even if it were KVM or Xen it wouldn't be a good price.

They are not the cheapest on the market indeed. But they are very reliable. And hosting in Netherlands and Romania is much more expensive that hosting in the USA. They were the sponsors of the TechNSpecs.me (RIP) forum and never have any outages or issues with them. For about 6 months their uptime was 100%. So their price per value ratio is very good IMHO.

Yeah i agree hosting in NL and RO is expensive then US hosting and their plans are good also if they are providing 100% uptime guarantee then you can use them. Also they are cheaper and providing more resources then Digitalocean.

Digitalocean has superb marketing tricks, nothing else. They are far not as good as they advert themselves.

Is the up-time a guarantee? Because most VPS that are under $4 have problems with that, which I can understand, but I would just like to know how often this would occur if I were to purchase a VPS from the company.
