Please stop using antivirus, they are not needed in these days and age. People who are computer geeks cannot get virus if they are careful enough and don't make dumb mistakes. If you really need one I only suggest going Malwarebytes, I do not trust others as they can really mess up the system and flag good file as virus -- making some game inoperable.

@Manal Isnt these list of AV are heavy resources use, specially Kaspersky and Bitdefender as I've used them before and my laptop experience some delays and lags.

My experience with Kaspersky is the same as mentioned by @Vuluts. I had to remove it from my laptop last year because it was so heavy it was freezing my system. I then replaced it with Microsoft Security Essentials, a free anti-virus for Windows 7. I use it with Malwarebytes Free Version. I hope Malwarebytes stays as light as it is right now, as so far it's been a really great malware protector. Just wish it wasn't so expensive - I'd have got a license then.

I used Kaspersky more than 10 years ago if not 15. Even though it was good at catching viruses we have a problem figuring who's the boss on computer. It would do some stuff without asking for permission and then when u set it to ask for permission it would ask permission to every single thing. Even trying to block even simple processes. So I had to move on to other virus guards. But that was very long time ago so Im sure now it's better. But even those days its taking bit too much resources.

Anyone here use cloud antivirus ? Many popular antivirus companies offer these for free. For example Kaspersky and Comodo both do. Years ago I remember using one called Panda Security. These are programs don't use much resource.

Is this possible to get Quickheal Antivirus for free/patched/cracked? anyone have please share link with us.
Bad experience with ESET NOD. delete windows system files or registry files. slowdown pc performance. also for kespersky total security you have to be a big machine with large ram.
kaspersky network workstation 6 is one of my best experience. but no further updates of this variant.
Bitdefender is got top ranking in 2016 2017. and still now hold in top 5 list.

Mmm, I still choose Kaspersky because I only want my computer not to be susceptible to viruses
And also already equipped with Cloud Protection System Make my PC safe always from hackers

@sagher

We can't post links to Warez files here. But Im sure you can find it in one of those big torrent sites like The Pirate Bay. But the real question is do you really want to use a cranked virus guard ? How much trust you can put on program like that ? Crack it self might have a some sort of Trojan Horses. It's better go for one of those free virus guards.

I have used NOD 32 without a problem in past. It does not delete your files about keep those in a quarantine folder. You can release the file from there if you want. But if a Windows file is compromised then its better format and reinstall Windows. Also your Windows files might had been compromised before you installed Eset NOD 32. This is why it's recommended installing virus guard with a fresh Windows Installation.

Honestly, i don't use any of the mentioned antivirus.I tried KasperSky Antivirus.I am using Panda Antivirus Since 2010 and still i use.I don't install antivirus in my computer but whenever i face some problems i install and scan and uninstall again. I always use Panda 2010 and update it.
I am very proud that most of the Computer masters take their hard drive to me for scanning.

@Kururin AV is helpfull specially if you're working with company that files are confidential as virus may infect those file and may cost trouble to the company. Another thing is when browsing the internet we all know that there are phising website, etc that may get your information through web and antivirus internet protection may help you with that.
