Yesterday I watched Avengers - Infinity War. Apart from regular Avengers crew they have added those guardians of Galaxy group too. Unlike those other Avengers movies this one will have a second part. That's the only thing I didn't like about it. Apart from that, personally I find this movie is really good. I would give it 9/10. It has several interesting tweaks, unexpected deaths and 3 separate Marvel stories in one movie.

Recently, I have watched a movie named Sand City, a movie which may make some time pass, Ido not know what message it has to give, but entertaining, can be familiar with some new stars.

I sometimes wonder why I watch a movie.  Like I know it's junk, but I seem to keep on viewing to the end. I've seen at least three movies lately.  First one is really disappointing - Gone (2012) with Amanda Seyfried.  Cops were chasing her over a number of days and trying to find her while she was using the same cell phone to communicate with people.  Like every one knows people can be traced and tracked with mobile signals.  The whole plot was also silly.  She was trying to solve the abduction of her sister who was hidden by the baddie of the movie and a guy who had abducted her before under their house.  The police thought she was crazy and the more leads she got the more adamant they became in trying to catch her.  I can't figure out why I watched the movie to its end.

Next movie that was also junk - was Never let go (2015) with actors that aren't that familiar - Angela Dixon in the main role.  They don't say which Middle East country she was in, but her baby got abducted, and she turned out to be an extremely hard hitting CIA agent with all kinds of karate moves and skills - engaging gangs of three or four in karate combat.  Everything was false and plastic about the movie.  Plot was very flimsy.  In the end it was a high ranking politician in New York whom she had an affair with who tried to get rid of their baby and was involved in a baby smuggling ring in the Middle East.  Wow, I'd like to see that kind of crime happening in the Middle East.  For me it was obvious who ever made the movie had never really been in a Middle East country and has a very poor grasp of the culture.

Another movie I saw that was slightly better from the point of view that it was at least "real" with a female detective in the hero role.  She worked with her brain and skills to profile and investigate, so I'd say one can watch it, but I wouldn't score it more than 7/10.  Movie was called Lost Daughter (2015) also with a not so familiar actress name Sue Bourque.  Acting was not that bad either and movie moved fast.  Plot was at least realistic.  It was about a woman whose husband and daughter were killed in an accident, who then got jailed after she killed the driver responsible for the accident.  She got released on parole for good conduct a few years after, got struck by a car, then got psychotic and unhinged, mistaking a cop's daughter as her own and abducting the daughter.  The daughter's mom was a detective and figured out where to find her.  Gun battle and fight at the end of the movie was also credible and looked realistic.

Last night I saw the Killing Season (2013) with John Travolta and Robert De Niro for the first time.  Great plot and of course excellent actors, but a movie that is quite dark in mood and tone.  It tell the story of two Bosnian War veterans, American and Serbian.  The Serbian (John Travolta) was out for revenge after he had allegedly been executed by a squad of American soldiers.  He was given evidence that Robert De Niro had executed him, however he somehow survived it, enough to pursue Robert De Niro to his forest home in the Appalachian Mountain wilderness after years of research to discover the truth.  Movie produced some great scenic shots worthy of oscards, but not sure whether the theme was quite my cup of tea.  I'm more into action who dunnit type movies - the movie was quite heavy on emotion.  Still, this was a quality movie with great story, acting and production so has to get 9/10.

Today I watched the movie Pacific Rim 2, Uprising. This movie does not have too many big Hollywood stars. I could only recognize 3 and they are not those top dogs. John Pyega, Scott Eastwood and Charlie Day. Also there was this popular Chinese actress, Jing Tian. The movie is well made but I won't go far as saying it's amazing. I think the first movie is better. This one has only 2 fights. I expected lot more action. I would say the movie is decent and 8/10.

Boyfriend Killer (2017) Another movie that I'm not quite sure why I viewed it to the end.  It's about a psychotic crazy lady who kills her ex boyfriend when she couldn't get her way.  Then pretends to the family of the deceased she is engaged to him, and then continues with killing more people to cover her tracts until it completely gets out of control.  A bit of a yawn as some of the scenarios weren't that credible - even the human drama issues were unrealistic to me.

The last movie which I watched was “Mission Impossible: Fallout” !

It was more incredible and interesting from the previous part!

By the way every part of mission impossible is interesting ....

Your Name - It was really emotional in my opinion and highly praised because of the director Makoto Shinkai who made 5 centimeter per inch and Garden of Words. I watched them both and enjoyed it. It was a really masterpiece in terms of visual, sounds. The visuals are top notch rivaling madhouse. Also the sounds are just awesome since the songs are still stuck to my head. Overall the story was 7/10 since it was kinda emotional and heart-wrenching and in all a good watch.
