Did you mean free trial?

I think he meant the free version let you make only one hosting user unlike other panels.

Oh it was some years ago and just remembered that there is free version with limited features, but as long the primary features still active and stable, i think it's good enough. Smile

But I prefer VirtualMin it has pretty much all features for free. They don't have a paid version just paid support if you need quick help. Once you get it install you have very little to do to keep it running.

You are right, for long therm open source is always the best choice.

I honestly don't like the whole "panels" concept, because well, the cons count is higher than the pros, I gotta admit, it's useful for lazy developers, but it's not needed, it's a waste of resource since everything on the control panel can be done with minimal effort with few SSH commands.

Honestly since i started made a thesis for my university i never use control panel anymore, cause even if i want what i made is related to linux based router which is really had tiny specs, let say 32 - 64 MB RAM with 8 - 16 MB ROM so i have to save as much resource as i can. But however i can understand for those who wants really focused on the web development especially if they has more than one web projects configure the webserver can waste much time. That is why there is a sysadmin and a web developer cause both have their own interest, unless if you wanna be a full stack developer you will have understand almost layers of both sysadmin and web developer.
