Free VPS Hosting @ FreeVPSClub!
#11
Look like NoUptime Host was their main sponsor. Sadly, NoUptime is not working anymore. Maybe some people now doubt if they can still give away VPSes as planned and it could be a reason why their forum is not too active. Even it happens, their forum is not dead and I can still see some recent posts on the forum. Just hope that they can keep it running well.

Well They still have vps available. Looks like they also lost 2 sponsors. Nouptime and also HostSlayer. Maybe the owner will be willing to offer more vps till they find more sponsors.

It's sad but at the same time it's funny because NoUptime was loyal to its name, it provides no uptime... Big Grin

Well, yes but I do not feel so funny because I had a NoUptime VPS before and I lost it all in a sudden. I did not even have a chance to backup my data inside the VPS. And I think NoUptime still owe their customers a reasonable explanation why they failed like this. Sigh.

Well...  originally we were going to get them to sponsor us VPS but than they stopped communicating with us so the sponsor thing never really even happened at all.  We still have two other sponsors who will provide VPS for members to use.  Just create your own threads, contribute.  Smile

On the side note, I did have a No Uptime VPS myself, and I lost everything in it.. ugh... why did they just shut down like that..

usually these type things happens when a company goes down due to Money in that they got no time to inform users and close there services

@IEpicDestroyer

They had a crappy business model or no business model at all. I had a vps from them too. But when I saw they were giving free vps like crazy I removed all important content from the vps and kept it only for testing. So I didn't loose anything when they vanished. No company can sustain losses when you live dozens of vps for free without having a massive paid client base to cover those costs.

Disappointing that they disappeared like that.  But I guess they were trying to scam people's money so they wanted to disappear quick.

On the side note, we're restocked new VPSs from our new sponsor, Rocketrix.  We have four KVM containers from them.  Smile

The only problem that freevps.club would face is to have unreliable sponsors which is quite annoying. They would leave anytime, without any notice removing all the data. The sponsors that you guys have right now are from new companies, and 60% new companies are closed in few months. I am just giving my opinion, but that is actually true. It was really reliable before when they gave the VPS from their own company, though it was really expensive for them.
