Deca core.

Deca core is 10 cores,

we already have deca core a long time ago in server environment . on desktop environment we get it on core i7 6950x with 10 core and in mobile we get mediatek helio x20 and x25 with 10 core . so 10 core does exist it already reach it even to consumer level

it is already out . on mediatek helio x20 and helio x25 but those chip have a heat issue and low battery life issue . and because of that people much prefer the slower snapdragon 625 (WITH HALF THE RAW PROCESSING POWER) than the twice more powerfull but get heat issue . mediatek helio x20 scored twice in single threaded and multi threaded in geekbench than snapdragon 625

by the way my phone with snapdragon 625 still gets hot when playing game i cannot imagine how those chip get hot

for pc you are fine with 4 core (FOR GAMING) . but for productivity workload that use multi core those deca core is helping

I think some people care about performance more than the battery. I think it really depends on the person but if I owned a desktop computer I would go with the best chip because you don't have to worry about battery.

well i have experienced that not always good spec stuff gives out the good performance so i would say a quadcore with max 2gb ram is something which full fill's ma need :X

It really depends on the processor, not the number of cores it has. If the processor is low-end then it won't work really good compared to a high-spec processor.

Well "Octacore vs quadcore vs dualcore" . It is depend on the processor it self . Like @Golden said .many factor affect it. An Iphone with dualcore can beat quadcore because iphone have better optimization in the task management in each core . And each individual have own taste like @Happymint said . Each individual have different viewpoint

Core's can be classified into 3 which are Basic, Medium and Advance.

Which user are you? and why would you rather buying a phone with higher core with also high price if you are just using the basic functions of it? why not just settle with a basic phone that can sustain your needs (budget wise).

Gamer? which game you are playing? Normal or Heavy? if you are just a normal gamer medium phones is suitable for you and ofcourse if you are a heavy gamer which concist of high tense graphics then go grab for an advance phone.

FYI: If you are a heavy gamer stay away from MTK processors, instead GRAB and HUG a phone with SNAPDRAGON processors because it will rock your fingers!
