Education or Work? Which do you think is more important or you give priority?
#11
Education is important but I think luck is way more important. Some jobs end because of technology so it is based on luck.
Thank you VPSlices and Post4VPS for your beautiful VPS!

When you will have education, then you will be able to find a good job, without education it isn't possible to get any good job.

In some aspect YES, education may help you to find a GOOD stable job, but BUSINESS is better. But even you dont get good education you may still have a GOOD BUSINESS.

Maybe one should distinguish between formal education and informal education. Formal education being a degree or diploma and informal education the level of skills and knowledge you need in order to do a job.

I don't think one can be good at one's job without some form of education - one doesn't necessarily need formal education, but one definitely needs basic education to develop skills and master business to be successful.

There are many successful individual that arent finish even highschool but they do have decent life the only thing you need is SKILLS.

Yeah it true mostly successful people leave their education but they have skills but in my opinion education is most important thing. Take education as learning something new if you think i will complete my education and get this job or start my own business that not what education mean. Is our youth problem (included me)

It sad but it true.

Without Education you cannot be moral. You won't be able to understand what's bad or good. It can result in crime if you don't get proper education.

This is as a weird of a statement as it can get!.. Fortunately, @deanhills addressed this in this quote:

... and I would add that the informal education -that you get while growing up- is what makes you Human (and being moral is definitely one those things that we acquire during our early childhood.) So, you don't become moral because you've being formally schooled at some point, but because you're part of a social order.

What I get from the quoted OP above is that the corruption(/moral decay) in certain Urban areas (of basically every country in the World) today has become so overwhelming that only folks with a formal education can still develop the 'adhoc breaks' to not get carried away in the crime's spiral of Hell. In this sense I would agree to a certain point.

I also liked this post's image; very expressive!

As to my answer to the question: "Education or Work?"; it's straightforward: Education, if you can afford it.

These days, it's not even a choice. You have to struggle to really get a good formal education; just ask the youth about their students loan burdens.

PS: Apologies if I did dig this old bone from the forum's graveyard.
