Most of the time the provider should allow you to mine with dedicated server because you are basically losing money every month for such mining activities.

Let's say they allow you to mine but it is worth the bucks to mine renting a dedicated server? as we know minings needs good specs as much as the video card to mine more / seconds.

In most cases, it is not worth renting a dedicated server to do mining.

That was why I said if you do it, you are basically losing money every month for such mining activities.

But if you already have a dedicated server running for something else, and that server still have some unused CPU slots, then perhaps you may try your luck with it.

i used their program before to mine some monero but i didnt get much by the way . for me mining isnt really worth it except if you have a proper hardware that can profit from the mining . there is much better ways to get money than mining cryptocurrencies that most of the time have unstable value
Terminal

Yes, you really need a proper hardware actually we need to classify you need an INSANE HARDWARE like many many many many many 1080TI video cards

my opinion is : Stay very away from minergate.

Each coin must have a official pool created by their devs. Try to mine on that for ex 1 week. then see the difference in 1 week between pools. and then come here let others know difference. even if there will be a very small fee at last you donate to coin devs not to someone else.

Last time i tested long time ago i was losing around -25$/week. (which in now/live coin price means -100$+/week)

Feedback, I was able to try MinerGate in my phone and it really drains my battery well as well used my phone huge resources that causes to lag or hung. One more thing is mining using it is not a worth of the time, waste of time and electricty.
