Metal 3D printing is becoming cheaper and cheaper. A company named Markforged recently started selling their machines for less than $100,000 in 2017. I think this is a huge improvement to our technologies.
Recently in Desktop Metal began selling their metal machines in December 2017. These machines are 100 times faster than other printing machines and they print faster than anything else.
What do you think will happen soon about metal printing? Do you think we will have enough metal in the near future? Or do you think some other kind of stuff will happen?
I personally think we should start recycling metal because it is important to our society. Mostly gold is recycled from old computers and devices. But it is important to care for other stuff too, taking note of aluminium and iron too. Stainless steel is becoming more expensive everyday and there is nothing we can do about it yet.
