Well I would first ask people on LET so I can get their opinion on this company then move on to sign up for their service. As everyone saying here I am kind of a skeptical of their hourly billing service. I dont like those since they can charge an arbitrary amount of money based on hour. I like flat fee instead.

There would be less amount of loss when you pay hourly, worth trying?

Its actually less amount of loss in flat fee. Hourly usage is counted either way even if you don't use your vps (turn it off), So its better in a sense that flat fee for a month is feasible but much better is yearly plans which comes at a discounted rate and you don't have to worry about paying monthly

Hi everyone,

(08-22-2018, 07:11 PM)deanhills Wrote: Bottom line, it's not a phishing site.  They do VPSs for real.  Only thing I don't like is their unorthodox way of charging that I also noticed at Amazon - saying they only charge you what you use - so list an hourly rate only that obviously makes things look better than they probably are.  It's not transparent what you're going to be paying in the end.  That of course makes it unpredictable and wonder how they will be working with a CC.  Probably take ownership of it and deduct from it as they please.  I try my best to avoid having my Visa Card details stored in a vendor's database.  Particularly a vendor that isn't that familiar.
Instances are billed hourly, so the client will receive a bill on the 1st of every month for the previous month's hourly use which means you are charged for the number of hours your machine is online. However, it will not exceed the total price displayed on the site.

With regards to billing, we don't store any CC details on our database. We use Stripe, Paypal and Alipay as our payment gateways.

This must be for new customer and non-recurring because if its recurring i wonder how they will be reliable in this price.
It is recurring as it is a lifetime offer. Smile

Process is you need to reload your account lets say $10 and get a service, anytime you can cancel your service and only paying the time you use their service.s
Yes, that's right.

We are using Stripe, Paypal and Alipay as our payment gateways. We do not store any Credit Card information on our site.

Their 7GB Ram, 140GB disk Space and a offer of 49% off makes their hosting good enough on which we can believe and host our game server like cod or SA-MP ....!
Maybe the host don't stops their customer for hosting a game server on their VPS!
Maybe before installing any game you should read their TOS and Terms!
Yes, it is fine as long as you abide by our use policy. Smile

I find that if one has to read an explanation about something that should be simple in dollars and cents then it is complicated.  It lacks transparency.  You have to be able to express whatever you're doing in a monthly amount so the person who is studying the site (in those short few seconds they're spending) has a clear picture of what the cost is going to be. I can't see on your Website what the monthly billing is.  I'm not clear what the real charges are.   I'm sure I'm not the only one who may have clicked away from your site because the charges are too complicated to figure out.  If they need to be explained - that should be a red flag to you already.  The more you have to explain the more complicated it gets and the easier to lose the attention of a potential customer.

What I'd like to see is a typical index of links that all hosts offer that include the services that are provided, what the monthly prices are and what you get for the service.  Your site lacks full information of the kind that a person needs to make an informed decision about whether they want to try your product.  There are many other competitors so one just clicks on to the next one if one has any doubts.

Bottom line.  The simpler your presentation of your products and services, including the pricing and specifics of services, the easier it is for a user to make up his mind.  You won't get them hooked with complicated mathematics.

Thanks for your feedback! however, we do show a transparent pricing model on our site for example:

The monthly estimated bill is what you are actually paying. And your bill value will never go above the monthly estimated bill Smile Hope that clears the confusion

When it comes to a promotional plan, you still pay the monthly amount displayed there, and if you ever cancel it, you will be refunded the excess payments.
We have an article explaining that as well: https://help.cloudcone.com/en-us/article...s-19bj5lr/

Can you provide me with a direct link to the above calculation?  How did you make the calculation as I don't see it when I access the products on your web page. When I click on "products" there are only three categories shown:  cloud servers, dedicated servers, hypervisors.  Then when one clicks on cloud servers, it comes up with a beginning price and a per hour price - how - at one glance can one figure out what the approximate monthly price is going to be without a formula to make a calculation?  I prefer it the old-fashioned way - like 99% of VPS hosts have a standard way of listing their products with monthly or longer term rates.  Some even compare those products for a person and provide exactly what you're getting for the price.  One can find those web pages more or less in the same location of the Websites so it is possible to figure out the cost in seconds from landing at the host's Website.  Possibly I'm missing something with your way of calculating the cost, but I prefer the traditional way.

@deanhills Here's the calculation dude for their plan $13.73 Monthly Rate

Plan $13.73 Monthly Rate / 31 (maximum days of the month) = $0.44290322580645161290322580645161 Daily Rate

$0.44290322580645161290322580645161 Daily Rate / 24 (Hours for a day) = $0.01845430107526881720430107526882 Hourly Rate

Round off value = $0.01845 Hourly Rate

Hope it helps.

Thanks @Vuluts.  That is helpful, but as previously mentioned, if I need it to get it as complicated as this to figure it out, then I lose interest.  A shortcoming on my part no doubt, and maybe I'm missing a great opportunity for a really good VPS, however I like things simple and the old-fashioned way.  I want to see what I'll be to see the monthly rate followed by bigger term rates.  Blush
