Sudden Downtime and Host change

I knew what provider xdude was talking about and that matches with what you guess.

By the way, it shows exactly how easy to make a website that looks legit.

Perhaps we should not judge a provider just by what he said or what he might show us on his website.

In all, I hope that the recent incidents would not discourage the admins finding new sponsors for Post4VPS.

Our number of available VPSes is decreasing over time. We do need more new sponsors soon. Smile

Agreed.
But, I think we don't really need new sponsors ASAP, because of some new members only come then left, even they forgot they did register on Post4VPS hahaha.

When sponsors stay, I really thankful to them. As we still have VPS left, but not really big, I think it's nice enough for our members.
But when sponsor come, I really happy and give thank to them. But need to some legit sponsor one :p. I should learn from Tyler's, thankfully I don't receive any VPS from him from the giveaway.

I agree that Tyler's incident was disappointing us.

But sponsors that act the way like him are actually rare.

We should not be too paranoid and suddenly refuse to open our door just because of this very special case.

In fact, with the current trend, our forum will soon be in great trouble if one or two of our major sponsors going to leave.

If it happens, we will repeat what occurred in FreeVPS, and the forum will die out gradually. No kidding. Smile

the loss of sponsor is one of the reason . the other one are people that posts just for vps not for the forum . but the new system in post4 vps that only allow 4 post / day should help eliminate this . also try to be more active on this forum i usually post more than the 20 limit sometime 30 post . and that is not taking all of my time just a little . posting on this forum NOT ONLY GETTING YOU A VPS but also great community that will help you when you have problem and getting more knowledge . that also the reason why freevps is archived not closed completely because some of the post in there is educative

i have been 1 year ++ on this forum and lot of thing that i learned some of them probably will help my future with the skill that i got wheter it is writing skill or computing skill it is totally helpful
