First of all, i have moved your thread because you choose wrong board thanks to @"Hidden Refuge" reporting us.

Well isn't easy to find sponsorship i started my PiratesHosting last year all because of Post4VPS and Virmach last sunday (22nd july) we celebrated our anniversary and we also provide VPSes. so i mean all you have to work hard. Post4VPS there since 2015 so i recommend you start providing gameservers first. You can mail companies about sponsorship obviously they want something from you as well. Only backlink doesn't matter ofc you have only 2 members i doesn't mean to discourage you but build stronge forum then you will find sponsorship.

I hope you understand

Thank you for the information you provided to me. About the number of registered users, well it's just me, because I have only 1 month creating the website and I haven't published it anywhere, but I will start now. Thanks, and keep succeeding on your forum.

Hmm, I thought buying a TLD will be good instead of using free domain. If you will buy then it's good enough.

And also from me, why not using other name? And if you follow Arsal's suggestion to provide gameservers. I suggest you to use universal name instead of post4vps. And also if you use post4vps, it can become an ambiguity of new member to come to your forum or to this forum.
Thanks to Limitless Hosting and Post4VPS for providing me excellent VPS 13!

Well, you're right about to change it to a TLD and to change the name because even I don't want to copy another Free VPS provider and to paste it to my website. For the TLD I will wait a bit of how will the website grow(just to be sure it will grow) then I will buy it.... And I'm starting with the game-servers for the start. Thanks for the suggestions.

Tell you the truth this is not the right time to start another free vps service. Because sponsors are getting harder and harder to find. Smaller Server providers loosing their business to big companies these days. It's quite hard to complete with prices these big companies offer. Anyway I agree it's better to have a TLD and its more important to find several sponsor because starting your service. You need to approach hosting providers and see if they are willing sponsor. But first you need to figure what you can offer them in return.

Yea, there is a lot of concurrence between small companies and big companies, but I think just to try it first.

For me even a bigger issue is specialist admin who are willing to work long hours for free to help with setting up the VPSs, suspending them, dealing with support issues and liaising with the sponsors - like there's hard work involved here.  Admin can be found for a few months when they're enthusiastic, but may start to lose interest, or get disheartened for various issues - particularly if the business is not their own.  In the nature of the free vps posts for hosting, more often than not members don't deliver on the posts, sponsors may withdraw or add new VPSs, there are new members joining all of the time so there is a big turnover in number of VPSs that have to be set up or suspended all of the time.  Also there is lots that can go wrong with a VPS necessitating skilled Admin to be around to look after those inquiries and fix the problems with the sponsors.  You need to have staff who are willing and able to help you over a long period of time.  This was one of the big reasons of the failure of the providers xdude mentioned.  Not enough specialist admin hands to provide support on a consistently long term basis.

This field is something that isn't really easy to get in. Even though if you get in that place you would give up after sometime. There are lot of examples for that, in three years i have seen more than 20+ free Post For VPS services and they never lasted long. Something that is free never lasts long which i experienced at FreeVPS.us, how big that community was and so well-managed, i never thought that it would ever close like this.
I also thought same for this forum, but when actual owner has real interest in something, they will keep it going. Though Post4VPS really managed well and is the only biggest Post4VPS provider for now.

It would be a waste of time if you are thinking about contacting the sponsors. They look for their own benefit, and if they don't get benefit they will never look and think to sponsor.

If you really have great interest and want to get in this field, better think about new idea other than posting. Think something that it would bring at-least some money to cover the expenses rather than depending on sponsors which they can end anytime.
