Not frequently asked questions ?
#1
Hello,
I have some questions that the FAQ doesn't answer to, so I guess they're not frequently asked ?
Anyway, let's go...
  1. The FAQ only tells us about low quality posts, but what are high quality posts ?
  2. Depending on question #1, how does these posts help you funding these VPS ?
  3. Depending on question #2, if a hoster is potentially interested in sponsoring Post4VPS, can he apply, how, and in which terms ?
  4. Once the conditions to get a VPS are fullfilled, how the product range is chosen, and by who ?
  5. Can replies to threads considered as quality posts, or only OP may be ?
  6. Once we published a post, how do we know that the mods/admins approved them as a quality post ?
Thanks.

1. A high quality post is a total opposite of a low quality post. One which has several sentences. Related to the thread and meaningful.
2. These servers are provided by various vps providers as sponsors. So no funding needs. but activity helps in many other ways.
3. Any one who interested in sponsoring a vps should contact an admin and discuss about it.
4. You can find a link at top where all the servers we have here are listed. Once give away start you apply for one which is available.
5. The word "Post" goes for replies too.
6. If the post is still there even after a day then you can be sure it's approved. We have quite active mods so you ll know lot faster.

Hey xdude,

Quote:A high quality post is a total opposite of a low quality post.

So, a high quality post is multiline, relevant, and that's it ?

Quote:activity helps in many other ways

That's precisely what I wanna know.

(#3) Ok

Quote:Once give away start you apply for one which is available.

So, to get a VPS, we have to fullfill the posting requirements and have luck ?

(#5) Ok

Quote:If the post is still there even after a day then you can be sure it's approved.

So, all low quality posts are deleted, even thankful ones ?

yes. relevant posts with several sentences will pass as quality posts.

More activity brings more traffic to forum and that gives more exposure for sponsors. Also more clicks for ads

oh yes if you are requesting a high end server then you need some luck too since other older members will be applying for it too. Whoever has the highest score will have it in most cases.

yes. There is a Rate button if you want to thank the member. One liners wont be counted.

Below topic has the vps list and at bottom of it you will find all the requirements

Hi @M1st3rN0b0d7

I want give you a warm welcome to Post4VPS.

Post4VPS is actually a platform for posting message exchange for a VPS. It is important that you make good use of your time and not continue to post useless messages, so "One-Liners" or simple words such as "Yes, Thanks" and so on. By posting successful messages it is indeed seen as a quality post like @xdude. The VPSs that Post4VPS offers are offered by different hosting providers. On the other hand, it is important that the provider keeps you satisfied with the desired specs that appear on the list. However, you will have to follow the rules that Post4VPS have drawn up and the rules of the hosting provider whose VPS you have. Of course you can ask for help if you are stuck with something. Here are many members who know a lot about VPS. If you want to know who the sponsors of Post4VPS are, scroll down and click on "VIP" orange. If you need help, pop a PM at me.

Very high quality posts are well written and provide as much details as possible. They describe things thoroughly and are helpful to the person who is reading them. Longer posts give you more credit points.

According to a PM I got from an admin due to me posting a bunch of 1-line posts, one-line posts can be seen as spam and you should try to make your posts at least two lines.

For question number 4, mostly yes. Like if you applied for the biggest one (VPS 9) and other people are applying to VPS 9 also, most likely if you don't have big point and your reason is not good enough, your application will be declined/rejected.

For question 6, yes. "Thank you" is a low-quality post and going to be deleted. You actually should thankful to admin because admin here doesn't delete so much post, unless your post is very low quality.
Thanks to Limitless Hosting and Post4VPS for providing me excellent VPS 13!
