Security Issue / Problem

The latest hardware is still full of serious issues that are far from fixed. Especially Intel is currently not able to get a handle on their situation. Security researchers keep discovering new and new security hardware issues even on their newest CPUs. AMD has it better... but we all know that the server market is strongly dominated by Intel.

And the Intel ME (and the AMD part of this software) might still have some serious undiscovered holes. The old holes aren't even patched everywhere because Intel doesn't provide patches for all of their CPUs.

intel me (management engine) have some vulnerability but there also a vulnerability to disable the management engine . i read it before and with some microcode to disable it . amd also have something like management called PSP . there is petition to make AMD PSP open source because that mean people can find for vulnerability at source code level

you can disable intel ME in some old boards like h110 etc. either by forcing it to hangup or setting a bit meant to signal enterprise use. That is just that. better than nothing may be. But not more than that.
newer intel boards dont support it and
you cant even do that with amd . So we are back to where we started. thanks intel and amd.

exactly where did i say AMD have intel me ? Do you think you are a kid talking to another ?

A petition in this case is like a request. we could go and petition MS to open source MS windows core code for whatever reason that resonates with our ideas. But the company is not obliged to do anything if that does not align with their business model. So this petition is just pointless. yes, we can say that at least some guys are doing something. but that something is nothing.
They have perfectly valid reasons to keep those firmwares hidden there. Like performance optimization to forced firmware update in case of critical issues for non tech savvy people and a thousand other reasons.

So there is no reason to repeat the same two line info you already mentioned in your first post.
