Creating NAT-Switches in Hyper-V
#1
Hello Post4VPS Community

Today I am going to post about a rather strange subject for a tutorial coming from me. Usually I'm writing tutorials for Linux only and if I write Windows tutorials it is usually only something related to software or trivial things such as instructions on how to find certain things or options.

The subject of the following guide is the creation of NAT-Switches in Hyper-V for VMs. This can't be done through the GUI management tools of Hyper-V. So it is something that is a bit more advanced and involves usage of the Windows command line (actually Powershell).

Let me know what you think.

Since Hyper-V is built into Windows I no longer really install things like Virtualbox or VMWare if I need to setup a VM. I simply enable the Hyper-V feature in Windows once and always have a ready environment to create a VM on my computer without additional software.
