Sentora - A free web control panel!

maybe i ll try sentora if i have another vps Big Grin
i would prefer to vestacp because its easy installation and support with nginx Big Grin

I like in Sentora the best that it is very similar to CPanel. It was made by the developers of the old ZPanel, which was discontinued. But still has no regular updates, bugfixes as VestaCP has Sad

I love Sentora, i've used it on my home server a couple times to have a play around with hosting management and hosted a couple websites for my friends for a while. It was great fun and loved the ease of use of Sentora. I came across this though a while back http://ajenti.org/ and it's brilliant. Take a look if you get the time.

@maroon93 it comes with NGinx built in too.

Like cPanel do we need to have centOS to install this Sentora control panel??

Yeah you install your base OS and then isntall Sentora (http://docs.sentora.org/?node=7)

Supported OS:
The Sentora installer officially supports the following operating systems:

CentOS 6
CentOS 7
Ubuntu 12.04
Ubuntu 14.04.

You need to install a operating system because install anything else in your sever. So in this case you need to install a Linux operating system. I guess CentOS and Ubuntu are the easiest to install. My favorite is Ubuntu because it's frequently updated by developers.

Looks nice, perhaps I would try to give that a go If I need to setup a control panel sometime, thanks for telling about that!

I never heard about it and I must say that Sentora have nice and simple design as I like. And probably I will use it one day.
