I think it's a good idea to keep Post4VPS update with every important thing. During the downtime I checked FB page several times but saw no activity. Still it has only the very first post. If you check Google you will find that FB page #2 in Google search for keyword Post4VPS so I think it's a good idea to keep that page update with all latest things including give aways.
That way people will have a way to receive updates about situation during downtimes etc.

I know. I'm suggesting for future use. When people know there is an action FB or Twitter page they would check that for updates when something happens. This is something every professional Web Hosting provider do. Also one of the reason why I have started using Twitter. To keep updated with hosting providers updates.

We couldn't find any details about what's going on freevps closed the thread thinking domain has expired and I'm sure the sponsor thought same. Even I starting thinking Post4vps is gone for good since I couldn't find anything about situation for days.

It can't be that much trouble since almost everyone use either FB or Twitter. Even it's trouble it's still worth it because that would save the credibility of the web site in a situation like this. Having a mailing list is another way but even that more trouble than social media. Taking the news to users is more important than how it does.

After all there are several Staff members here so one can easily keep public updated.

im not the one that manages the social platform since i dont even use it for me personaly.
i do some little twitter but i dont know what to put over time.

It's no biggie. All you need to do it manage the Twitter account. I mean post updates. Like when there is a give away or when you guys get a new sponsor or VPS etc. These are the usual things can be posted to keep the account alive. Also then you can post updates when some downtime happens too. I'm sure you contact other admins through skype or something so getting news shouldn't be hard.

Hmm, So who did make the FB page ? It's at #2 for Post4VPS at Google search. Also several people can manage a FB page unlike Twitter. I guess a new Twitter account need to be created.

i do not own that since im a mod here.

at my self i dont like to use fb.
so i left it at my other admins.
