RE: Your browser? - thispc - 10-29-2015 My Fav Browser is Chrome...NO plugins Required (Flash supported) (Like in firefox) RE: Your browser? - Unixfy - 11-02-2015 (10-06-2015, 12:42 PM)Crypt-K Wrote: OMG this post is so funny because I was just thinking about this. I used chrome for so long then they stopped supporting java which kinda pissed me off a bit. So after a few more months of using chrome I started to notice that their was a load of things that firefox supported that chrome didnt as well as the view of the whole browser and saving and caching data and such. I decided to test firefox out for a week and decided to just delete and stop fooling around with chrome. I am not happily a firefox user. Firefox is very insecure and slow too, it doesn't support multithreading as well as browser sandboxing, unless you use the Dev Edition (which I use as my secondary browser). My favorite browser would be any Chrome variant that supports Java(I need it for Virtualizor's serial console as well as SolusVM's). I currently use a modified older version of Chrome. About that slow thing I partly agreed with you, because in the past on my older PC with Windows XP it was much faster. If you would like to try the most secure FireFox then try Comodo IceDradon. It was made by Comodo Inc. which is one of the biggest security company. They made largest number of SSL certificates in the World. (1 of every 3) You can download IceDragon from here: https://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/icedragon-browser.php?key5sk0=2005&key5sk1=a7fdc85068e6458e9ad2fc80f85e7a9465b38b88 RE: Your browser? - perioner - 11-04-2015 Firefox is my favorite browser, but Chrome is also best RE: Your browser? - Unixfy - 11-09-2015 (11-02-2015, 01:35 PM)Dudi Wrote:(11-02-2015, 11:40 AM)karatekidmonkey Wrote:(10-06-2015, 12:42 PM)Crypt-K Wrote: OMG this post is so funny because I was just thinking about this. I know about IceDragon and I'm currently testing it on my home network. It's on a special isolated test computer. I like it very much, however I'm not a person who likes Comodo as I have had multiple bad experiences with them. They also make a secure version of Chrome, it's called Chromodo. RE: Your browser? - Aman - 11-10-2015 I choose firefox as it doesnt load too much like chrome it runs fast than chrome and also uses less ram than chrome RE: Your browser? - TrK - 11-10-2015 (11-10-2015, 11:55 AM)Aman Wrote: I choose firefox as it doesnt load too much like chrome +1 @Aman good points, I agree it is faster then Chrome and also uses less memory it also having a inbuilt chat plugin. RE: Your browser? - Hugop - 11-10-2015 FireFox is my choice, it has an easy-to-use GUI, many useful add-ons and is the top rated browser for speed and privacy. Chrome is a RAM eater and has been made to spy us and optimize their search engine. ![]() RE: Your browser? - RickB - 11-13-2015 I mainly use Chrome. But since our ISP, a subsidiary of Liberty Global, uses Silverlight in it's Horizon Go. I am forced to use another browser for watching TV. I use Firefox for that purpose btw. RE: Your browser? - PaddiM8 - 12-08-2015 Woa! I did not expect that many to have Firefox! It's 50%/50% between firefox and chrom |
