ide is mostly a personal prefference . i think those that say eclipse is a work of devil have a bad experiences with it . i have a bad experiences with it too . it eat kinda lot of ram in my cases . if you already using other ide like netbeans or intellij idea and you like it you should keep using it except when it is out of support because that can be a security risk

Looks like, since people are rating IntelliJ too high but i started with netbeans and now i am not unable to adjust with IntelliJ since netbeans looks too perfect and accurate to me.
This thread somewhat also proved its depend on personal choice.
