Reputation button is almost the same as like button and the icon is exactly the same a thumbs up. But with this you can add credits to the other member too as a gift if he or she helped you.

How about adding reactions to each post and you can rate only once? Like: Funny, Brain donor, Informative, Agree, Disagree, bla bla bla

SMF ( Simple Machines Forum ) has a plugin for it. IDK if myBB also have one.

idk, if like button is good or not... but i think reaction has good idea. it's something like, you react to someone's post with cry, mad, happy or even love it by just choosing it. it's something like discord had... but idk if it's needed for forum.
