Is it possible to add a Like Button on every post same as on Facebook? I think this maybe or not a cool idea but Instead of posting "Thank you" why not giving a post a Like?

Or, simply change the name of " Rate " to " Like ". Just a template edit would do that.

@meetdilip Rate Button is used for giving Reputation. Instead of editing the Rate Button why not add the Like Button if possible. Then under the Reputation maybe add another line for Liked: to count all your like post.

I was thinking that both does almost the same thing. Except for the name, it add a point to a like / rep panel + gives an opportunity to add a comment as well ( here ).

No No need of like button we have a rate button its enough if you like some one work you can rate

Why on earth would you need a Like button? What would be the use of it? If you want to say Thanks to the poster you can yet simply add a reputation to his profile?

But I think Like button will be able to reduce spam. As instead of low quality posts, user will just Like the button.

@Anik There is a rate button thats why i am against like button No need of like button and about spam posts we have a nice staff who control spam Including You
