They even do that in Black Friday Deals, they had 8 GB RAM KVM with Windows License for just $40/year

It sounds crazy to you, but I think they have made the right decision.

Since I use the Virmach VPS got from this forum, I find the VPS stable and have then started to have a positive experience towards this provider. My project team has already planned to buy VPS from Virmach for our next project and I have also told my friends about their good VPS quality.

So, it is a very successfully 'giveaway' for their marketing purposes.

Short update: it been 1 year+ without any single downtime except couple of suspension due to unfair usage which is definitely my fault but thanks to @Dynamo to providing me another chance as well as helped in protection of the machine.

Because of the busy schedule i cannot write a new one but soon i will write my past 1 year experience with VPS 9 so new comers like (@Manal) can believe this is actually 8GB ram VPS.

Seriously, I can't believe that VirMarch gives this 8 GB RAM VPS for free while they offer the same on their website. I might soon buy one VPS from them until I am done checking out some stuffs before I buy. I just want to give them a try before I buy. So in this way, I would have two VPS from them. One is from Post4VPS and other would be paid one. That'll surely help me boost my platform. Good enough! Thank you for the review.

No doubt because of your ISP.  The ping number is very high so latency is iffy. Have you done a ping test from your computer to the IP of your VPS?

i do two ways. one from putty ssh via speedtest script. and the second is via vnc connection. directly go to my vps os desctop using mozilla firefox and go to the web directly from my server. and the result difference is not too much. almost same.

@sagher I thought your question was, why is the speed of your VPS so slow?  My answer is because of the way your ISP - your Internet Service Provider is set up to reach the location of the VPS.  Got nothing to do with putty or mozilla firefox or browsers, or with the VNC - the VNC can never be faster than your ISP.  It's the way your ISP - internet - works with the location of your VPS, i.e. the number of packets to the VPS and back and how smoothly and fast they are working.  It is completely beyond your control to change it.  If the ping is slow, the only way to fix the problem is to change the location of your VPS - which at post4vps means you need to take another VPS with a location that works faster with your ISP.  This also means you need to test the new location first for latency with your ISP BEFORE you apply for the VPS - to avoid any disappointment.  You can find a mirror IP to test usually at the Website of the VPS or you can ask at post4vps.
