Wordpress and cookie notice bootstrap

dean. we surely can live without Google. but even then you are hardly safe. cause i hear usa and allies have setup big data warehousing projects at important transit points around the world where huge amounts of data pass from one region to another. and they don't comb through it. they just store all of it. what they do is use high power computing hardware and top notch algorithms to find patterns and flags in that data when they need and.... it is like zooming in and seeing from up close when you need to.
so encrypted or not, all your data is stored. with the advancement of computing, those data will eventually be revealed.

so where is security even without Google. it is non existent unless you create it. now how do you do that.

well, by not giving away information about the real your and creating take our misleading persona online.

i just hope they make efficient language bots that can run on mobile platforms soon . then that can be used to keep meaning of your sentences intact and hide the pattern of writing.

that will go a long way in anonymously doing things online without leaving trace.

Ahhhh @rudra. I'm hoping that between you and @"Hidden Refuge" you could carve a little space for us in the Dark Net where we can safely live without scrutiny from all those who want to exploit us for power or financial gain using any means to do so. You think that is possible?

yes, HR surely could arrange to provide services within dark web and possibly i could too. But what i want to emphasize again is every individual has control over his own online life. don't post or share things online that you are not ok to share with random unknowns on a street corner. but i think some of us here know eachother for such a long time that it Will be hard to exercise that caution. i understand that. what i suggest is share what is necessary and over secure/encrypted channel. like signal for messaging.

if we exercise self restraint, then i doubt we would need to worry much about privacy or getting hacked and losing data etc.

i don't, cause i have nothing sensitive posted anywhere or kept in a computer.

another thing is always be on the lookout to learn and update yourself on security matters.

dark web is not a very good solution to our privacy problems. it has its weaknesses and ways to reduce its effectiveness. also every user have to be knowledgeable over there to make it effective.

say you are on a list and it gets hacked. then you are in the open.

so just create imaginary identity i guess and maintain it and compartmentalize. when you leave our throw away an identity for some reason, never go back to it. that's it.

Not sure how the privacy thing came up. It's probably important, but once again, for me it was about the herd mentality. Doing something without thinking about what you're doing. Creating a cookie notice bootstrap just because someone else is doing it, and now you think you have to do it too. That was my major "rant". Privacy is of course also a concern, and the suggestions you made ironically also relevant for "think before you do something" instead of just doing it. I guess I don't even have to preach this to you, because you're a much deep thinker than I am. Your head probably works like chess moves when you're working with computers and the internet. You already anticipate a number of moves ahead of the consequences for any move you make right now. I'd love to be as much as a specialist as you and Hidden are in your areas of specialization. Cool
