I want to know the best VPS service provider in USA I have to host an image heavy forum and a MediaWiki on separate servers(VPS)

Hosts you included in poll are all EIG brands except inmotion and no one from here is going recommend them as some of us have very bad experience with them. And for the virtual servers try on LET or WHT maybe you can find a good deal there.

yeah inmotion is better then EIG brands but still i am not going to use inMotion as suggested earlier check LET or WHT for good Server providers.

Depends now much you are willing to pay monthly for the service. Form all vps providers the best one is Knownhost. I have a vps with very active forum (couple of hundred posts per day) and few less active forums and also bunch of Wordpress sites (around 20).

I have a fully managed vps with them since like 2009. I don't think I have created more than 10 support tickets since then. Pay monthly $35 for a vps with 7TB Bandwith, 2.25GB RAM, 75GB RAID-10 disk space, 16+ CPUs Equal Share etc. cPanel/WHM cost is includes in price.

@RickB I wouldn't recommend DO for projects that require good stability. DO had problems before. They had data loss. Things that needs big image storage should go to servers with weekly backups.

Or just use a CDN with push capabilities. Like MaxCDN :3 (store your images at their servers. You have unlimited storage there. You only pay for bandwidth)
