I installed Kali linux in a virtual box, I tried to hack pc's running on my LAN.Well i got the one with passwords!:'D
Well,i have heard it is also used for WiFi Hacking? (Who got time for that) ,

@Abdul Sami Definitely yes, actually not only for WiFi hacking but also other type of HACK but ofcourse that will depends to you if you will use it for white or black hacks.

It's getting more popular when Elliot from Mr. Robot always uses this distro to hack things. But if i really want doing hack activity i'll more like uses IoT, write script that will do automated tasks like sniff any traffic from specific interface, filter it, and then send the important data to my server, that way more secure for you cause you can leave it but keep having access to it from anywhere. Since nowadays linux IoT's are really tiny, low power, and cheap so you can put it to the hidden place, example on ethernet port behind the victim desktop in your office, no one will realize that unless your victim are techie guy who really care with his network security.

It's not a distro 'for hackers'. It's used the security and penetrating but it got popular with skiddies. Any OS can be unethical if you want it to be. You can hack with Windows if you really wanted to.

Yea its true, but hackers like Kali because it has a lot of preinstalled programs and they dont need to wast time on install and also Kali is easy to customize.

I -myself- didn't regularly use Kali Linux (just a couple of times), but from my knowledge, I know that it's a penetration testing distro, which means it tests the vulnerabilities on different types of things. I also think people shouldn't be using it for hacking as it's an illegal activity which shouldn't be done anyways. When I used Kali Linux, I noticed that it's just a Debian with GNOME 3 preinstalled together with some packages which can be easily installed.

I have used Kali Linux. I still have it on my old laptop which I run mostly. There are lots of hacking tools not just for WiFi but various other unethical web hacks. I use it for educational purpose so I haven't done anything illegal yet. But, Kali Linux is a powerful OS where you can expect things.

Yes. That's right . The Linux operating system is a lightweight operating system. And it runs faster on software launches. And hackers want the same thing. So the hackers can get the code and information they want faster with this operating system

I have tried Kali Linux just to try it . But , it was hard to learn it because all of it worked on the terminal and it is on the programming language C   . So , I needed to learn a bit that language to use Kali Linux . Anyway , I don't really like it because there was no games , just hacking programs like Hydra , Sqlmap , and other exploits .

@Siover if you know Debian you can easily use Kali Linux as it was forked (Not exactly sure for the term) from it. Kali Linux arent used for games as it was used for penetration.
