Hello,
Looks like some sites from recent past few days has started providing Free .co.uk domain for First year.
Users can have one through here: https://www.1and1.co.uk/free-domain
![[Image: f3dd56292f.png]](http://puu.sh/wffGu/f3dd56292f.png)
though currently I don't want one. But other users might be interested.

your vps name?: VPS 9
which node are you?: Phoenix
whats your issue?: Is SSH Tunneling allowed
i just wonder . is SSH tunneling allowed . because i interested to use my vps as a SSH tunneling . i already see the VirMach AUP it says that public proxy isnt allowed . so i really dont know if ssh tunnel is alowed because the aup doesnt say anythhing about ssh tunneling
if it does not allowed i will not use my vps for ssh tunneling
thanks

I have just wanted a discussion about Sponsors. All good servers in the pool are slowly taken by members so there will be need of new vps soon.
@Dynamo : How did you find current sponsors ?
Did you talk to them or they contacted you directly about sponsors ?
Also what do they get in return for sponsoring vps ?

hi guys
today i will show you how to add cool ascii text when you login to ssh
so basically when you login to your ssh this will appear
![[Image: 5LlrbFAWTouu63y0rgiKaA.png]](https://image.prntscr.com/image/5LlrbFAWTouu63y0rgiKaA.png)
so lets just go to the tutorial
1.what you need to do is make your own ascii text . make sure it is less than 80 collumn . you can get it from this site --> http://patorjk.com/software/taag/
2.now you can create your own ascii art with text . you can choose any combination of text and font but you need to make sure it less than 80 collumn to show properly
3.after you create it copy the whole thing and go to your ssh client . i use putty
4.you need to edit the motd file . by using "sudo nano /etc/motd"
5.now just right click or copy the text from the ascii generator and save
6.to see the result you can type "cat /etc/motd" or relogin to your ssh
hopefully this tutorial is useful . it can be used to diffrenciate your vps and other

Hi guys . sorry for long time no vb.net tutorial but now im back with one
so today i will show you how to make a content blocker with vb.net . basically it is will scan all the title of specific word . if it find a window with that title it will kill the process . so this software is great for blocking software from running or blocking unsafe content like pornography for example
so first start with creating a project .
now what you need is one button , one listbox and a timer . a label is optional if you want tell something in your app
now edit the listbox item to add the keyword that you want to block . for example : drug , gambling , porn , etc
now double click the button and add this code to initiate the timer
after that double click the timer to add the code
now the coding part is finished you can test the app by pressing f5 or start debugging . and here is the result
if you want the project file you can download it in the attachment

Hi guys
i recently watched apple wwdc 2017 keynote live stream . and there are 6 things that they introduce in the event . the event already done now so if you want to watch you can just see the recorded one . so in this keynote they announced the update of four of their os and also a hardware update
the first thing they talked about is about tvOS for apple tv but there are not really thing that is interesting . even i forget what it is and there are no new 4k apple tv
the second thing they talked about is the new watchOS for their apple watch . they introduce the watchOS 4 . this update introduce the new faces for the watch . the most notable one is the siri face . basically it is the face with siri that you can ask . and also it tell you about important information and this information is dynamic . that mean that depend on the situation the information will changed . for example in morning they will tell you how much traffic jam . or in night it will reccomend you to turn of light from homekit or etc
the third thing they talked about is macOS or previously called Mac OS X . there also a rumour that this new version is the last version of mac os 10 and the next version will be called mac os 11 . they introduce the new version 10.13 called high sierra . basically they just add the new prefix to their existing version . just like before . they do it before with snow leopard and mountain lion . by the way . in this version they introduced the new file system called APFS or apple file system . this file system is much oprimized for flash storage like flash drive and solid state drive . and also APFS have a feature that if you duplicate a file it is very fast and doesnt decrease your storage space . and another thing that they announced is the new version of metal API called metal 2 . it have much faster api callback and also support for external gpu . but the most important and interesting is that they introduce the update to their hardware . first they introduce the new imac . it pretty much just processor update to the intel 7th gen kaby lake and also update the gpu to amd polaris RX 570, 575 and 580 . and also they improve the display to support 10 bit dithering. secondly they introduce the update to the macbook pro line . they update the processor and i dont know about the gpu but they also do a price cut . so now the 13 inch macbook pro is 1299 . just as same as the 12inch macbook . but the most interesting is that they introduce the new imac called imac pro . it is basically mac pro tucked in imac case . imac pro came with 8 , 16 or 18 core of intel xeon processor and also very interestingly amd radeon vega graphic . and it will get up to 16gb of VRAM . and it also have 4 usb -c thunderbolt port that capable of running 2 5k display and 2 raid enclosure
the fourth thing they announce is that the new iOS version called iOS 11 . iOS 11 not really have much difference in UI . but the control center is different . it is much better and have much better support for 3D touch . apple pay for messages , etc they talked about more thing than that but i forgot and also they make the os much better for ipad . for years ipad is known for just a bigger iphone because the ui look the same . but with this update they make a new change like now there are dock , better multitasking , sort of multiwindow ,drag and drop and the best of all FINALLY THEY INTRODUCE FILE . now you have a file manager in ios finally .
the fifth thing they talked about is the new ipad . they introduce the new 10.5 inch ipad pro . it is basically 9.7 inch ipad but with less border and more screen . and also it have more brightness . and they introduce the new 12.9 ipad pro . the new ipad pro came with apple a10x soc that is much faster than previous version . and next they demo something that is sort of mind blowing for me is that they use a professional photo editor that look like want to beat desktop version of photoshop because how fully functional it is . i forget the name . but they also talked that the ipad is as powerful as core i7 (BULLSHIT) and they use it for edit a movie poster and it actually turned great . and that is also the sign that pc or personal computer maybe come to death someday . and most people probably know that pc is old like those vcr , floppy disk , cd/dvd , and other thing in past . they simply know that pc is things in the past . oh i forget and they also announced thing called ProMotion . basically it is 120hz screen . well that is impresive for a tablet but for pc . pc already go to 240hz
and the last thing is that they introduce the (not) revolutionary amazon echo clone called HomePod . it is basically amazon echo or google home but with siri instead of google assistand and alexa . it have basically an iphone 6 without a screen and other phone feature because it powered by A8 SoC . it also offer a great spatial serpation which you need to hear it to feel the difference . it priced at 349 USD . not really worth it . i better just buy echo dot for 49 USD and a cheap speaker if i really want smart speaker that bad even though im not getting that (revolutionary) speaker separtion
so what do you thing about the WWDC 2017 comment below . and you should watch it too . you can probably find the recording on youtube

There are times that our post counters links are down.
I would like to confirm, in what certain date of the Month does our post count resets? and until what date needs to finish the 20 monthly post for VPS owners?
I'm not sure if I'm posting it in the right section but please admins and mods kindly move my topic if I post it on the wrong section.

For some of us, we like to keep things good and organized. We like to keep tabs on different containers, that could very well be running apps that might be incompatible or a headache to others. To some of us, we'd like to keep other users isolated if we share our main host.
Setting LXC networking can a be a little cumbersome, if not, maddening if you do not have one of the distros that automatically set the networking interface for containers. (Most Debian and Ubuntu distributions set up a NAT interface for you).
(from here, we assume you've installed LXC 1.0 or any 1.# version)
1.Introduction:
Let us say that you have a distribution that doesn't have the packages that automatically set lxcbr0 or another interface to NAT and network containers on.
A example configuration is shown below, written in /etc/default/lxc-net
Being a bridge, it will bridge and act as NAT for the system. When the configuration is placed within this file, LXC will automatically enabled and place the iptable rules to make it work. From here, you can edit any setting you want, such as networking prefixes to be shared between containers. Once this file is placed, you can execute:
To make the configuration stick.
2. Introduce IPv6 to containers.
Once you've gotten a container online with its own IPv4 network, you can setup and even make IPv6 only containers. To check the current containers, and their addresses, you can use the
command.
Example output:
2.1 Do you even v6, bro?
Before we dive in, bringing the holy version 6 of networking to your young containers, we need to even CHECK if you have IPv6. Some providers offer native IPv6, but others do not. This guide will only apply to those who receive a routed prefix such as a /64. Many providers offer single /128 (or 1 IPv6) and can request some more, but this guide will be for networking as a whole prefix, and quite frankly I've never dealt with that before. Commonly systems that are more than capable to being conatiner'd (and worth to be conainter'd) usually are offered a /64 to /48s.
2.2 The Hurricane Electric tunnel.
Let us assume that you do not have a IPv6 prefix routed to your container, and resort to the use of a tunnel. If you do, we are going to have to make some notes on the website. (We are going to assume that you've already successfully tunneled IPv6 to your system)
In this example, I am using this picture I found on the internet because I managed to lock myself out of my account while making this:
![[Image: TunnelBrokerIPv6.png]](https://wiki.mikrotik.com/images/6/60/TunnelBrokerIPv6.png)
What we need to pay attention to is, Routed /64 and Client IPv6 address. Now, we are going to check your ifconfig, which in this exmaple is this:
What you need to note, is that address. This is where we are going to shove IPv6 traffic through, and make as gateway.
To help understand this, I've made this diagram:
In order to provide connectivity to your LXC nodes, you also have to act as a router. So, enable this command:
Which will allow your server to act as a router. Now, we need to get back to lxcbr0 or the interface that we've have set, we need to make it have a address. If we follow the next diagram, we can see now how the packets will follow suite:
See that we needed to address lxcbr0 a address to make it a gateway for the containers. How? We do these two commands
Now, since we have this in place, all you need to do is make the container connect to this network, by editing the /etc/network/interfaces file after the DHCP IPv4 (inet dhcp) option.
And, restart networking. If all goes well, a simple ping6 google.com should give you results.
2.3 Native IPv6 connections.
This guide is going to assume you have the bear minimum of a /64. Although this could very well be done with other amounts, a /64 is ideal within the RFCs rules for networking. It is the same principle, but you have to note of your routed netmask or amount of IPv6.
In this case, it is as copy paste as before. You need to find your routed IPv6 address(es). The diffrence here is that you are not routed another prefix in between another:
To check the addresses you can and cannot address, use this tool:
http://www.gestioip.net/cgi-bin/subnet_calculator.cgi
Example:
My example ifconfig (in this case, I am offered a /112)
![[Image: v6howto.JPG]](http://monkey.eu.org/rand/images/v6howto.JPG)
![[Image: v6howto2.jpg]](http://monkey.eu.org/rand/images/v6howto2.jpg)
Usually, the network interface will always start with the first address listed. So, use the second address to assign to it to the lxcbr0 interface. The size of the network is shown after the address within ifconfig.
So, then, we substitute the address and sizes into the following commands.
Then, the containers can allocate everything else after :1
Troubleshooting:
If you have a no route to host problem, make sure that ALL traffic is correctly gateway'd.
If there is no route to host within the host system, and pinging outside of the system does not work, try:
If there is not route within a container, check if the gateway was set correct and same to lxcbr0's or the interface used by LXC.
Check if you can ping the lxcbr0 interface, if you can't, you've incorrectly setup the IPv6 connection somewhere between the container and host system. If the container can ping the host system, via the gateway (or can ping the gateway), then try this command within the container:
Any other problem, consult with Google, as these are few of the problems I have encountered using this.
Setting LXC networking can a be a little cumbersome, if not, maddening if you do not have one of the distros that automatically set the networking interface for containers. (Most Debian and Ubuntu distributions set up a NAT interface for you).

LXC_ADDR="10.0.3.1"
LXC_NETMASK="255.255.255.0"

LXC_DHCP_MAX="253"

See that we needed to address lxcbr0 a address to make it a gateway for the containers. How? We do these two commands
Code:
ip a a 2001:470:23:37e::1 dev lxcbr0 # adds a address to lxcbr0
ip r a 2001:470:23:37e::/64 dev lxcbr0 # adds the global address
Code:
iface eth0 inet6 static
address 2001:470:28:37e::2 #container's desired address
netmask 128 # google netmask ammounts, 128 equals to 1 IPv6.
gateway 2001:470:28:37e::1 #lxcbr0, this is acting as gateway because it is.
Code:
.-~~~-.
.- ~ ~-( )_ _
/ ~ -.

To check the addresses you can and cannot address, use this tool:
http://www.gestioip.net/cgi-bin/subnet_calculator.cgi
Example:
My example ifconfig (in this case, I am offered a /112)
Code:
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 02:00:c0:a8:64:4b
inet addr:192.168.100.75 Bcast:0.0.0.0 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: 2001:41d0:1:777c:200:xxx:xxx:0/112 Scope:Global
inet6 addr: fe80::c0ff:fea8:644b/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:74 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:67 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:10516 (10.5 KB) TX bytes:8893 (8.8 KB)

Usually, the network interface will always start with the first address listed. So, use the second address to assign to it to the lxcbr0 interface. The size of the network is shown after the address within ifconfig.
Code:
inet6 addr: 2001:41d0:1:777c:200:xxx:xxx:0/112
So, then, we substitute the address and sizes into the following commands.
Code:
ip a a 2001:41d0:1:777c:200:xxx:xxx:1/112 dev lxcbr0 # act as gateway for containers
ip r a 2001:41d0:1:777c:200:xxx:xxx:/112 dev lxcbr0 # network allowed for the conatiners
Troubleshooting:
If you have a no route to host problem, make sure that ALL traffic is correctly gateway'd.
If there is no route to host within the host system, and pinging outside of the system does not work, try:
Code:
ip r a 2000::/3 via (he-ipv6's address, or eth0 address for native connections)
Check if you can ping the lxcbr0 interface, if you can't, you've incorrectly setup the IPv6 connection somewhere between the container and host system. If the container can ping the host system, via the gateway (or can ping the gateway), then try this command within the container:
Code:
ip r a 2000::/3 via (container's IPv6 gateway)
