i got toshiba since 2009.. so almost 9 years... Sad

I think the motherboard is really dead. Replacing it would be quite meaningless when you can get a new PC in replace.

A computer from 2009 is quite old it is better to replace it because it wouldn't be good enough to give power to new apps these days.

just got a new system:

pentium 4 (this came with the tower)
2 gig ram
gts 450
500 gig disk space

and upgraded my main pc from a:
gtx 560 ti > gtx 1060 3 gig

I have only a Laptop now since my gaming rig is SOL. It had i5, GTX 960 and 4gb ram. Planning to build a new one soon. But graphics card is so expensive and inflated these days.

How much does it cost for a graphics card in your area/city or country?

In my city, I never found the rate of graphics card decline. It's like exactly the same.
