if you need a server that is ready to used to be a web server i think you better off getting a server without an os and then install linux yourself and after that you can install your favorite web server like nginx or apache . and you can also use php , ruby or any other server scripting if you need too
and configuring linux dedicated/server isnt that different than linux vps . and also you get more performance and flexibility . you can 100% cpu load at all time without any risk or suspension and your resource isnt shared like vps does
