In addition to what @sagher said about premium versions not always being available in certain countries. I was forced to remove the premium version of Kaspersky from my laptop last year because it completely slowed it down when I tried to install it. Most of those premium versions are very heavy on resources. Windows 10 I believe already comes with a built in anti-virus Defender - so maybe all that is needed is the free version of Malwarebytes. It comes with a scanner.
