I think something went wrong. because if graphic card corrupt or not respond windows never go to boot screen. or it has minor issue like any circuit cuttoff or burnt resistance. etc.. or try to find correct drivers and install it manually. once i suffer with this kind of problem with my ATI Radeon graphic card. the automated drivers which windows get are not works properly. then i manually install exact drivers of my card and many many new options are unlocked.
