What is a DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is an American law from 1998 that extends the copyright law for the technology of the "digital millennium". The law implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization and was signed on October 28, 1998 by former President Bill Clinton. When a user with a hosting subscription and a copied website content on the server host of the hosting provider is seen as stolen content and documents from another website and with the DMCA a website is taken off the air if there is a DMCA on the server Takedown Enforement is registered. There are also countries where no DMCA Takedown Enforcement is active such as: Russia, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. In these countries the DMCA application is completely ignored and therefore no action is taken by the hosting provider.
What are doing when a DMCA complaint is coming?
When this is coming how you deal with? We just fixing this that they can't do nothing with you.
