@fChk Many thanks for the Ivermectin documentation from the US. Problem in South Africa is that the Ivermectin that is generally available is for animals, not for humans. So possibly there would be a difference with ivermectin in the US and Europe. The animal version of Ivermectin one can buy from farmers' depots - and the prices, because of high demand have shot through the roof as a consequence. For human version, one has to get a prescription from a doctor, and then submit the prescription to selected pharmacies (only one is available in my area), and wait for a couple or more days for the prescription to be prepared by a pharmacist. It is also available as a cream.
In the end the greater concern is the effect of the Ivermectin on stomach linings over here. The concoction available from farmers' depots for use with animals is already very strong for animals.
