The story of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists responsible. On April 15, 2013 Boston, Massachusetts, Police Sgt, Tommy Saunders is pulling security duty on the annual Boston Marathon when the Tsarnaev brothers strike with their homemade bombs in an act of terrorism. In the resulting chaos as the wounded are cared for, Saunders and his comrades join forces with the FBI to get to the bottom of this attack. As the investigation continues, the Tsarnaev brothers realize that the authorities are close to identifying them and attempt to flee the city to continue their fanatical mayhem. To stop them, a police manhunt is performed that would have bloody confrontations and a massive dragnet shutting down the City of Boston to make sure there is no escape from the law.

A really great movie about the Boston Marathon Bombing from 2013. It is not a documentary! We're talking about a action drama. Worth a watch for sure.

A recently widowed young mother will go to any lengths to protect her children as she seeks the truth behind her husband's murder. Sarah Collins, a recently widowed young mother of two children, Ben and Lucy, is desperate to know who murdered her husband Stephen. Her son Ben has been an elective mute since the day he witnessed his father being knifed to death on their estate in the middle of the day. Police have done nothing to catch the killer, categorising his death as a falling-out amongst thieves. One day, after ripping off local crime boss Leo Miller, Tito breaks into Sarah's flat, where he decides to stash the stolen drugs. Frightened senseless, Sarah wants nothing to do with this, but caught between a rock and a hard place, she sees an opportunity to use Tito to gain information about what might have happened to her husband with the hope of eventually returning to some semblance of a normal life. Ben accidentally finds the drugs and also tries some. Upon finding that the drugs have been ruined, an irate Tito tries to rape Sarah, but she stabs him to death and disposes of his remains. Leo discovers that Tito was the one who stole his drugs and his connection to Sarah. Leo confronts Sarah and the children while they are out shopping. Ben runs away after seeing Leo and when Sarah catches up to him, he confirms that Leo was the one who killed his father. She later agrees to bring Tito to Leo. Sarah goes to the nightclub to meet Leo, carrying with her Tito's head, and orders Leo to leave her and her family alone. When Leo does not comply, she kills Leo and his thugs after learning they killed Stephen for interfering in their business. The murders are dismissed as gang-related violence.

Well, I can only say that I think the movie is better than the rating it has received.

The whole movie was shot in only 16 days while being filmed in Northern Ireland and Belgium (weird location switch). The budget for the movie also seemed to be lower than usual. However the visuals and everything else is pretty high standard.

Ichi is a blind woman who roams about town with her shamisen (a three-stringed Japanese guitar), but she has exceptional sword skills with which she fights off yakuza and other villains.Following the footsteps of the blind masseur and swordsman Zatoichi comes Ichi, a woman and a daughter who travels the land as a 'goze' or visually impaired woman who plays the traditional three-stringed shamisen. This woman, however, has a hidden talent. She not only has the command of a lightning-fast blade, but also uses it in terms of justice and a quest for her long-lost father. Matching her skill is a man whose swordsmanship is only bested by his internal inhibition.

Not to be confused with Ichi the Killer!

I enjoyed this movie and would probably watch it again but it's not really that special. I would say the rating fits the movie well. Dialogue and fighting scenes are bit under developed and clunky. That's the main reason why the movie hasn't made it that far. Definitely cannot be compared to Zatoichi.

With his debts mounting and angry collectors closing in, a fast-talking New York City jeweler risks everything in hope of staying afloat and alive. Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler) is a once successful New York gems dealer whose gambling addiction has left his family and career in shambles, and him hundreds of thousands in debt. Always looking for the next big bet, Howard thinks he finally hit it big when he discovers a rare uncut rock of Ethiopian gems, with a very interested high-profile buyer. But the closer Howard gets to finally winning big, the more he is forced to realize he can't keep running from the consequences of his actions.

That was an intense movie with great acting skills as always presented by Adam Sandler. He can play about any character and will always do it really authentic and funny (as most movies with him are).

Great one! You should watch it or you'll miss something good.

The funny thing is that the top review on IMDb is one of the worst scores for the movies. I think the person who made the review missed the whole point of the movie. And so did many others when they voted this review to be the best review for that move on IMDb but hey you know that site is crowd driven . So nevermind that top review and watch it yourself and keep in mind how busy New York is and imagine how it is to be in the shoes and life of the character that Adam Sandler is playing. I think it would be a constant fast paced river with extreme currents (the gambling addiction, the struggle to make money to pay off debts, the insane bets and etc...).

As a lawyer investigates the murder of a colleague, he finds himself more connected to the crime than anyone else. Rozat Sabich - Rusty to most that know him, even in formal circumstances - is the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Kindle County, Illinois. His wife, Barbara Sabich, has been struggling with focus on completing her Ph.D. dissertation in Mathemetics - a thus far ten year process - she who nonetheless is applying for a college teaching position. They are generally in a loving, supportive marriage, Barbara who seems to have gotten over Rusty's infidelity with his colleague Carolyn Polhemus, an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Carolyn is ambitious, she who, in part, used Rusty to try and climb up the ladder. Barbara will still throw the issue of Carolyn in his face whenever there are problems between the two. Rusty and Carolyn's affair is unknown to others in their personal and professional circles. Rusty is handed the most personal case of his career when his boss and mentor, Chief Prosecuting Attorney Raymond Horgan, assigns him the case to discover who killed Carolyn, her dead body...

One of the older movies with Harrison Ford that I enjoyed watching. Although I have to admit that it's one of those movies that is almost very easy to predict. A case without real proofs, a motive and etc. Once you've seen other movies with the same plotline you know how these usually end.

A young pickpocket and an unruly CIA agent team up on an anti-terrorist mission in France. Michael Mason, a pickpocket living in Paris, steals a bag with a teddy bear in it. Not realizing the toy contains a timed bomb, he tosses it aside on a busy street. A few seconds later it explodes, killing four people. CCTV footage reveals Mason's face and the French police tag him as a terrorist threat. The explosion, although botched, was set up by a select group of the French Interior Ministry as a decoy so they can make a half billion dollar digital transfer from a bank (closed on French National Day) -- hence the title Bastille Day. In a separate CIA investigation the unruly agent Sean Briar discovers the real story behind Mason's "terrorist attack". The two men, on different sides of the law, collaborate to bring the corrupt members of the Ministry down.

The movie was okish but not really very goodish. Goes more into average.

When a young rancher crosses paths with a Lakota girl from a nearby reservation, her mysterious disappearance sparks a search that uncovers a harrowing past and hints at a dire future.

This movie seems to be one of the less known ones. Have not found much about it. It seemed interesting but in the end also was rather average (sadly).

The main character is kind of a useless guy to be honest mostly. You have to watch it and you will understand and agree. Or check the most helpful and at the same time the worst scoring review on IMDb . I agree with it in terms of waht the reviewer wrote but the score is of course not that bad imho.
